This was our first high point of three this day. The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg high points are all quite close so it made sense to us to get them all done in a day. We started off going to the Netherlands one as we knew we wanted to end up in Luxembourg city in the afternoon.

The highest point in the Netherlands

Located here is also the tri-point of borders between Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.

The area seems fairly developed. Good for spending a few hours and having a picnic on a summers day. There is an observation tower, restaurant, maze and walking paths through the woods.

The steel cone marks the high point

We had a little wonder around and a few pictures later we headed for number two of the day - Belgium. Which is about a 45 min drive away from here.
