Apparently, Sněžka was one of the first European peaks visited by tourists on mass due to its straightforward nature to climb. The mountain had undoubtedly been one of the busiest I'd been to in the challenge, with literally hundreds of people scattered around its expansive and well-developed summit. Post office included!

Story coming soon...

We started from Pec Pod, a ski resort on the Czechia side. But there are alternative routes from Poland that seem just as popular. Up on top, there are several buildings, one looks like a crash-landed UFO and the other a functional post office to send postcards. But if you don't fancy the walk up, there are chairlifts all the way to the summit. Admittedly I took the chairlift partially back down. I had injured my knee doing Poland's highest and I was desperately trying to avoid causing any further damage with just a handful of serious peaks remaining at this point.
