Since I had flown back out to Malta for peak number 21 we had done 10 highpoints in just 15 days! Even with many of these countries' highpoints not being physically demanding, the 5 flights and roughly 2000 miles of driving had been beginning to take its toll on both us, and the car.

Even though it's over a thousand meters high, Hungary's highpoint was virtually a drive all the way to the top. It surprised me on how short this was to get from the car park. Less than 5 mins away from where we parked the car I turned the corner and the iconic Green, White and Red colours were right in front of me. I wasn't exactly expecting much but even still a slight anti-climax.

Not far from the commemorative stone there is this TV tower.
A few photos and a coffee later we left to spend a few days exploring Budapest. After that, I had planned to head to the Alps by myself to tackle some real giants
